We’re RFP Design, and we’ve been quietly obsessed with making furniture since way before it was trendy to talk about craft and provenance. For years, our pieces have lived in some of Canada’s most beautiful hospitality spaces — built to handle high-traffic, designed to feel timeless.
Now, we’re bringing those same pieces straight to you.
This is Studio by RFP.
Two Sides of the Same Coin
By day, we’re the behind-the-scenes makers for Canada’s top interior designers, architects, and hospitality groups.
If you’ve ever stayed at a boutique hotel and wondered “Where did they get that?” — odds are, it came from our Mississauga workshop.
By night (and increasingly by day), we’re Studio by RFP — our direct-to-you collection of the pieces designers keep asking us to remake.

We got tired of saying “sorry, that’s custom only.” So we stopped saying it.
What Makes Us Different
We’re not a furniture brand that outsources production.
We’re a production studio that became a furniture brand.
Every piece starts as an idea sketched on our shop floor, gets prototyped by people who actually know how wood behaves, and leaves our facility only when it meets the standard we’d accept for a luxury restaurant build-out.

The Toronto Connection
We’re based in Mississauga, Ontario — close enough to Toronto to absorb its design energy, far enough to actually build things.
Our work ships across Canada and into the U.S., but there’s something about being Canadian that seeps into what we make:
a quiet confidence, an unpretentious luxury, and a “this’ll outlast both of us” kind of permanence.
